About our Worship Service
The focus of our church week is on the worship of God, helping the congregation to worship and worshiping through the Word and music. We take great care to see that worship is done in a manner that speaks to and includes as many people as possible.

Every service includes a reading from the Bible, with interpretation (preaching and teaching) directly from the text of the day. We strive for language that communicates and includes as we explore the age-old truths of the Church and their application to our lives.

The service includes laity led liturgy, with sermon and choir, and is attended by persons of all ages. After the service, there are opportunities for fellowship, as well as for meeting and talking with our pastor and laity.

Holy Communion
is open to members and non-members alike, and is celebrated the first weekend of each month. Sunday services are warm and liturgical. The music is familiar, moving and uplifting. We believe that the worship of God is the primary event in the life of the Church, and its family of believers.

Children's Sermon
Presented each Sunday morning during the worship service, all children are offered the opportunity to come forward to hear a new message of God's love for them.

Music
Led by Gayle Lennon and accompanied by Pious Honny on piano and keyboards, the Cranford Choir and children's choirs present music of praise and thanksgiving in honor of our Lord. The congregation hymns come from both the
United Methodist Hymnal and the Faith We Sing allowing us a good cross section of traditional and contemporary music. .
