Dear Church Family,
It is the time in spring to start thinking about our gardens, but let's not forget about ourselves, our families and others in our community. We all need to take care of ourselves, our immediate circle and the greater community. Like our gardens we need to tend to them, feed them, water them, care for them. The new VBS (Compassion Camp: Changing the World with Lovingkindness), that we purchased for this year is perfect for reminding us of this. We are still trying to figure out how we will approach VBS if it will be virtual like last year, in-person, a hybrid or what. If you would like to assist us in this endeavor, please reach out to the church office or Sally Dravis.
Ken has been out to the church this last week getting the church’s garden ready for planting. We decided to expand the garden this year, the youth will be assisting with it. The question of the day is, what would you like to see planted? Email me your thoughts! We would like to continue the porch drop offs to folks of our veggies so let me know what you want!!! Also, for all our gardners out there, if you have extra veggies this year please feel free to drop off extras to the church to share with others in the congregation!
Laurie Koronowski could use two, fully vaccinated volunteers this Friday at 1pm to assist her with putting the music back on the shelves that were repaired. Please email Laurie at email@example.com if you can assist.
If you have not gotten your COVID vaccination, or know someone and would like to, this week Tues-Thurs. There will be vaccine administration at the Original Mt. Vernon HS.
The Health Dept. will be taking walk-ins the following days.

We hope that you are taking advantage of the many opportunities to stay connected to your church family by joining us in Sunday School at 10am on Sunday mornings via WebEx. We are currently doing a study on the Lord’s Prayer we would love it if you could join us! If you are unable to join us on our WebEx for Sunday School, you are encouraged to continue your faith journey by completing the studies on your own or completing them with your family. Copies may be picked up at the church.
If you need a WebEx invite for Sunday School let the church office know. We hope you'll take advantage of this opportunity to stay connected with your church family.
A friendly reminder that the link for the weekly devotions and sermons are posted to our website www.cranfordumc.org every week. They are also posted on our FaceBook page as well.
All members are encouraged to pray daily for the church, each other, and the world. We are asking for special prayers for the upcoming General Conference and Annual Conference.
Though we are not meeting in person the mission of the church is still being met in new and different ways. We have many working behind the scenes to help make our journey a little easier and we are incredibly grateful for their effort. If you could take a few minutes out of your day to reach out to one of them and let them know how much you appreciate what they do, I am sure they would be very appreciative!
