Purpose of the United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women
shall be a community of women whose purpose is
to know God and to experience Freedom
as a whole person through Jesus Christ;
to develop a creative, supportive fellowship,
and to expand the concept of missions through
participation in the global ministries of the church.

Our United Methodist Women meet the 3rd Saturday of each month for a light continental breakfast and to study God's Word and our response through missions and evangelism. We have found that it is preferable to limit the number of business meetings to quarterly and those meetings are luncheon meetings held in member's homes.

We are involved in many mission projects, especially those impacting children in the Lorton Community and beyond. We have exciting activities on our calendar and invite you to join us.
